Steroids effect on/with joint prob

I never took steroid when I had the chance to because I wanted to train for myself and see how far I could go. I did that this summer but now my body is broken and I can no longer train. I think about getting on gear (after doing more research and finding good sources) these days, now that I can’t train near the level I used to (without any drugs) at all. I been out for 3 months and have seen no improvement, and the doctors all just say the same bullshit about never training again, finding a different sport, and taking pain killers.

I was getting gains I never had before over the summer (225-315) in about 3 months (all natural). These days, I can’t even do what I used to warm up with. I think it is mainly due to my joint problems. Would steroids help recover my joints and allow me to train again? And would I become dependent on them if I do get on a cycle, or could I do one cycle and never do steroids again but work hard and keep the gains, or if not, at least go back to what I had before naturally.

I haven’t read any more information and research since the more I know, the easier it is to get into it, even if it does not help and I become dependent on it for the rest of my life. Right now, I just want to know if doing one cycle, and only one, would do anything.

Thanks.

I don't think steriods will hep your joints.

They will let your muscles 'recover' faster and thus give you the 'capacity' to train harder without over training and making you feel down after training hard. No magic cure. You don't get immediatley buff. It just lets you 'train harder' because your body 'recovers' better. Muscles that is.

I'm no steriod pro though. Maybe a steriods helps with joints?

Try that glucasomme (yeah dodgy spelling). It has helped some people with joint problems.

HOW did you GET YOUR JOINT PROBLEMS? A freak accident?

Lifting heavy and not warming up properly wouldn't have done that much damage SO SOON to you.

PEOPLE MUST start out properly. Lift light and for 15reps x 3sets on everything to 'condition' themselves and mainly there joints to TAKE the weight. Then later cut the reps down and up the weight. This way the joints can and WILL take the heavier weights later.

Good luck.

Deca Durabolin has a side effect of boosting cartilage growth, which may also have something to do with joint pain seeming to go away while on a cycle. However, the cartilage growth is supposedly abnormal, meaning it doesn't grow evenly or something like that.

Anabolic steroids will not do anything for your joints, as far as allowing you to train. You might ask your doc about any alternatives, such as surgery(if it is serious enough).

thanks for the advices. I just wasn't sure if I could ask my doctor about steroids for its medical usage because their perception of me is that I am going to take it to get bigger and all that.

How did you injure yourself so badly in 3 months that you can't train properly anymore? Just wondering.

I know Winstrol actually causes joint pain in some people,so stay away from that one if you do decide to juice.

I overtrained and tore all major ligament and tendons. They are now adhesed together due to muscle scar tissues and other unknown reasons. I guess I was so pumped up and psyched for it that I kept fighting past my pain until it was too late and too damaged.

225-315 in 3 months? Is this a typo? How can you expect your joints to adjust this change in weight so quickly?

ops, my bad, I meant 225-315 in bench press and my actual weight went from 155-180
