Would be great. I think Stipe would win. Shane is most likely going to be a bit sluggish in his first fight back after such a long layoff

Too early this should be 2/3 fights away on the main card to enter the winner for a contender match (presuming they keep winning) I like both bit SDR is coming off a long lay off, stipe for the win.

Great fight, winner of this fight will be on the come up as a HW prospect.
This may be the fight I'm most looking forward to this weekend. Not to say say there aren't other interesting ones, but this is a fight between the two best HW prospects in mma imo, and it's really a pick'em fight. I almost hate to see it this soon because one of them will most likely have to take a step back.
Never the less, I'm really excited for this one.
Stipe has golden glove hands and good wrestling he soiled if it stays standing or goes to the ground he's got this and he is a future top 10 Hw with a very strong chance IMO of being UFC HW champion in the future

I love Stipe and I agree that he has a very strong chance of being a future champ, or at least an elite fighter in the division, but it's not as simple as your breakdown.
Shane Del Rosario is a former Muay Thai Heavyweight World champion, the only American to ever hold that title. Stipe may have better hands, but Del Rosario is a much more versatile striker, and a high level one at that.
He's also a very good submission fighter, in fact he's one of the only HWs to ever successfully pull off an omaplata in a fight.
This is a very intriguing fight for those reasons. Who will have the advantage standing? Can Miocic's wrestling neutralize Shane's submission game? It's an awesome matchup and one that I am very much looking forward to.

I did not forget Shane submitting the guy with the worst ground game in mma history.
It's hard to tell who will win this fight because both guys have faced such poor competition. Shane has the best win but against a guy with a terrible ground game.
Both guys have been clocked by lesser guys(Stipe vs Rob Broughton and SDR vs Brandon Cash) and looked vulnerable at times. That's what makes this fight so interesting.
