Well we weren’t there, and Chutebox had the reputation of those guys going all out.
Regardless, peak Wandy vs peak Shogun, I’m taking Wandy without hesitation.
Not that it isn’t close, because they were both absolute killers.
But Wandy is my pick.
Later in when they had both slowed down, I don’t know. Wandy was a shadow of himself after Pride. But Shogun became a plodder too.
Two of my all time favorites either way – and the 2 best LHWs of the Pride era.

He was getting ready to make to walk to the ring. Standing on the platform behind the curtains. Him he’s team and couple of pride officials.
He feels something is touching one of his as cheeks. He turn around and one of the officials has his hand on Cro Cops as cheek. He details it, butt I will ceep it short. He grabs his hand and pushes away. And the dude repeats it, Cro Cop removes it again. And was seconds away to dismantle the dude. Butt nothing happened.
