STOCKTON CA. ARENA TOMORROW

I attended the weigh in the Stockton Arena today. Interesting group of
fighters. Tim McKenzie in a tune up for Oakland and Nick Diaz both
looked in great shape. If you are around Stockton or will drive the
hour or so from the Bay Area come on out and support MMA. The new
Stockton Arena looks good inside with sight lines close from all seats.
Opened in Dec. 2005 it still has that new room vibe. Eleven fights.

Whats the fight card look like?

I didn't get a card but here is a Newspaper article about Nick Diaz,

hes's a local Stockton guy and it mentions some of the others. If I can
find any info on the internet i will post it later.

anything happen at the weigh in? Like shoving or excessive shit talking?

Nick's Gracie guys, about 20 of them, gave Tim McKenzie some vibes
but no overt shoving or heavy BS. This is now a full on professional
sport so CSAC is in the room. If you want to be a pro you put all that
anger and macho posing in the cage or go home.

i was wondering how the weigh in was gonna be like since tim left the cesar gracie camp.

ttt for the wrecking machine!!!

Anyone know the card?

Tim was supposed to fight Alex Serdyukov, the 185 WEC champ, but apparently wanted an easier, warm-up type fight before his fight in Oakland. Disappointing, as I think Serdyukov could have and would have beat him.

WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE. I thought Tim was fighting in the IFC that day not the other show in Oakland. He said he was fighting for the IFC and he is on their card and poster. The events are the same day.

I would have went....if I could have found a card and line up somewhere..

I hope Nick whips his guy and looks good in doing so.

ttt for what dunc said

Tim's out of the IFC card and will be fighting in Oakland.

"Tim was supposed to fight Alex Serdyukov, the 185 WEC champ, but apparently wanted an easier, warm-up type fight before his fight in Oakland. Disappointing, as I think Serdyukov could have and would have beat him."

Tim didn't duck this guy, he'll fight him but doesn't make too much sense to have this outside of the WEC since the belt wouldn't be on the line.

$tockton!

that is stupid he is out of the IFC card

what event was this. Results?

"that is stupid he is out of the IFC card"

nah, its better. fighting in a better venue, for a better organization, better promoter, etc.
