I was looking at the new shogun ufc 97 training video, and it reminded me of one time in Hilo.Any way i was staying at Hilo bay hostel and in walks Jd Penn.Jd sets up a room for a guy named Sergio.I'am think "probably a BJJ blackbelt from Brazil".This guy Sergio ends up staying at the same room i'am at.Needless to say we started to talk, and we end up talking about jiu jitsu and mma.I find out he was one of Vandalia Silva's mma coaches(actually taught him his first muay thai class). To be completly honest,he was one of the most humble and nices person in mma i ever met.The whole point of this post is i feel this is a guy that deserves some recognition from the mma community.
Sergio is the man. He got there at about the time i was leaving hilo but took as many classes as i could and they were great.
