Strained collarbone tendon?

I got put in a kimura the other day and was resisting it as it got tighter....right as I shifted to remove some of the pressure, I heard something crack right around my collarbone and sternum. I iced it for 2 days. The pain is still there, my mobility isn't that bad but not great, and it is sore to the touch right on the knob of my collarbone, closest to my chest. I am bummed. Is there a tendon there? It doesn't feel like a break, but it does feel like I tore something. Thanks for any help.

Brett

There are a few tendons there, mostly for the chest muscles. However, if you heard something crack it's more likely that you have torn some cartilage where the ribs meet the sternum or where the clavicle (collar bone) meets the sternum.
