Point of fact, Werdum is a UFC fighter. He was chased out of the UFC to SF, where he dominated, before coming back. First fighter to beat Fedor was a regrouping UFC fighter.

Makes you wonder if any of the fighters that currently fight in Bellator would be champions in the UFC.
I would consider werdum a pride guy... And he was in the UFC before strike force. Also Robbie lawler was in the UFC before strikeforce.
The fighters in strikeforce were/are awesome, but I felt like the product and broadcasting was not as good as the UFC imo.

Apparently Strikeforce was the greatest org ever because Lawler & Werdum fought there after leaving the UFC and Jon Jones was stripped of his belt. Rockhold is the only one where you could make that argument since DC lost to Jones before Jon attempted career suicide.
Lawler and Werdum both fought in the UFC so only 2 on that list are valid

The point isn't saying that strikforce brought up these guys it's that everyone would say strikeforce was the minor league and that they couldn't compete with the ufc. People said the same about wec as well.
I think what op is saying is the ufc isn't always going to have all the best fighters they just have the name and the hype.
We might see a future ufc champ come from Bellator.

The only one I'd really argue fulfills the criteria is Rockhold.
You UFC nut huggers are ridiculous. You know how many times it was spewed Guys like Lawler and Werdum had to go to Strikeforce because they couldn't handle the UFC talent. Now they were UFC fighters anyway ? Fact is this , the best fighters weren't always on the UFC roster. Until we can get actual governing bodies and not promotions running their rankings we will never have true champions ; only promotional champions.
