God, I hope Overeem/Werdum doesn't get pulled. That's the main reason my girlfriend bought tix for my bro and I to go.
Great news. The UFC is going to change up things...and most likely show us more fights and better overall cards.
They are also ditching the concept of filling the undercard with local talent to save money. This will not only give us better fights but keep the main SF roster guys BUSY...which they have been bitching about. SF will now fill undercard slots with good fighters and good fights.

I just hope they show all the fights. I hated Strikeforce for refusing to show prelims anywhere, even if there was plenty of tv time left over. Thankfully HDNet starting hosting them.
I was thinking about getting a ticket and going, but not if Werdum and Ubereem aren't fighting.

Ive been told dont be surprised if overeem pulls out of the tournament and relinquishes the championship... Overeem could possibly be crossing over to the ufc... This would make the Tournament finals for the championship and makes a debut ppv more interesting... This as i said is rumor i know there have been talks and the fight is not cancelled and is still official but was told dont be surprised... This can change daily so I will try too keep updated with more info as I find out more but its not a guaranteed more to come...
jimbobyeaboy - If they kill this fight I will FREAK out. I give it a week before we hear that Overeem is "injured".May 30th or 31rst. ;-)
i actually would prefer if overeem and werdum was scratched, overeem needs to be fighting in the UFC already.
I'd be ok if Reem pulled out after he defeats Verdoom. I figured he want that win as a matter of revenge. Not much else to prove against the other fighters after that. He avenges a loss to the first guy to beat Fedor. Have the Griggs/Valentijn winner take his place. Then have the fight we all want, Reem vs Velazkwez.
I'm glad I didn't buy tickets.
