How is Shields the #6 MW?

I'm getting my tix first thing tomorrow during the presale. Can't miss this.
UFC couldn't sell out that venue, Strikeforce will struggle. I hope this doesn't hurt the event. Nashville is just not a big fight town. Local events there with local fighters can't sell out venues a quarter the size of this one. Good luck Strikeforce.

Personally I could care less if it sells out. I could be the only one there and have a blast, ha.
I might be remembering wrong, but doesnt Nashville usually get the highest ratings for MMA programs? Or was that just the CBS data or for a UFC event
The ratings are high yes, for t.v. but the live shows in Nashville are usually pretty empty. The Strikeforce card looks good, I hope it does well, it's just that Nashville is not a good live market. UFC said that they would more than likely not return to Nashville due to poor turn out and the less than receptive crowd.

I thought the only reason they picked Nashville was because of the high turn outs in MMA events there. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Ummm the Fight Night in Nashville was the highest attendance for a Fight Night in UFC history. That was despite a card that lacked household names(but was good from top to bottom). Not sure where the info is coming from that says it struggled...
Do I think Strikeforce might struggle? Definitely possible...time will tell.
I was there. The venue was not even at 25% full. They were giving away tickets after the non televised fights to make it look more full. It was still empty. Live MMA shows in Nashville are struggling. I worked in the fight game there for over 2 years. I've seen it from the inside out, it's just not a fight town for live attendance.
I thought I heard Dana complement our crowd and said we were awesome.
Ummm I was there...in the front row to be exact. You are either a bad troll or have the worst memory of all time. My buddy who I went with is a lifelong wrestling fan, and goes to wrestling events there all the time, and he said there had never been that many people in attendance for a RAW event.
If I felt like hooking up my external hard drive, I would post some pictures...alas work is a bit over 7 hours away.
Finally it took a single google of UFC Nashville to see a VEGAS article about it setting an attendance record for a UFN event. It also says the gate for the event was over 600K in another article. So that works out to $60 for each person that attended. Certainly seems like more than 25% full hey? Oh well try again another day.

yay facts
From what I remember it was a pretty full crowd for a fight night especially. And for the most part we were great, it wasnt like Australia or anything, but we were a good crowd.
Im just stoked to have a good card come to Nashville. Im ready to see Gilbert hurt Aoki.
I know I will be there.
I was third row and sat behind the owner of Arizona Combat Club. The attendance was the smallest I've seen for a UFC event in the last five years that I've attended. They were handing out tickets to try to fill it. They thought that starting the event so early was the problem, but the attendance for the televised card was sluggish if not empty compared to what they wanted. I don't know how you think it was full, there were more people in attendance for ESPN Friday Night Fights when it was there.
Killer f'ing card!
