Strikeforce must have something against Akano...

 Frank got over good.

I personally don't want to see him fight anymore. Same with Ken.

roflmao at $940 I can make that selling distilled water!

Can anyone break down the formula for Frank's pay? It looks like he gets about half of the live gate, but I assume there must be a base figure that the percentage is added to

Ridiculous

dimesnake is on the dime. $940. Good lord. what an abomination.

Nick Diaz got screwed on that payday.

 lol

Am I the only one to notice that Eric Lawson got paid the same amount as Cyborg to show?

 Simple formula:

Frank+his business partner Scott Coker=being able to write your own check

"I launched Strikeforce into MMA, I launched Coker into MMA, I launched MMA on Showtime and I launched MMA on CBS (laughing). Coker has been there with me hand in hand. He’s my business partner and he’s a man of his word and in this day and age, that is very hard to come by."

Well yeah, that much is true, but I wonder what the actual breakdown is. For Shamrock vs. Le, it was said they split half the live gate between them, 60/40 for Frank. I would have to believe that the figure being reported includes his gate bonus

Funny thing is ....now that they have their shiny new SHOWTIME channel Frank was their main draw.....Now I bet they keep marchin his old busted ass out there to keep fighting.

They need to up the fucking ante and pay Nick more since he is now the draw/.....They are trying for Carano, but they don't have enough money for her services.....she hasn't committed to shit.

bottom line....PAY NICK

Anyway......Everyone got paid DOGSHIT because Frank got half the payroll.

$634,445 Total pay out. Might be 100$ or so off

All these people chose to fight for a living. They accepted these contracts. No one forced them to. They could all go try out for TUF if they don't like it. Or they can get a real job. These people aren't complaining because they love to fight. Stop bashing like you all know how much these people actually make. Don't bash Strikeforce for paying these amounts. Bash the fighters for accepting them.

How does Nick Diaz make it on that? Doesn't he spend alot on trainers and such? Also for other fighters?

if this were numbers for a UFC payout thread, it would be 15 pages of complaints already

KenP, it looks like Diaz needs new representation, badly, are you up for the challenge?
