Strikeforce's Mike Afromowitz sends the following along:

We DID NOT lose the blood test results of Christian Grosinsky's opponent. Strikeforce did not handle the licensing of the fighters on the undercard. The commission informed us that John Wood's blood test results were not turned in and, therefore, ruled him ineligible to compete. I will gladly have someone from the commission verify this information for you.

Oh Strikeforce. Why must you be so inferior? Even if this isn't Strikeforce's fault it still kind of is in a sense. You wouldn't hear of this kind of crap going on in UFC. You think Strikeforce would keep on top of it's performers.

I like Strikeforce, but I really think they should stop trying to act like anything more than a 2nd rate company. I can think of many examples which pretty much embarrasses them. If Strikeforce wants to hang with UFC, maybe they should try to become and act more like a legit MMA company.

Strikeforce's business direction they are going in will do nothing but make them the next Elite XC. I'm surprised it hasn't happen already...

blah blah blah "yeah UFC" blah blah blah

Monsters Ball - Strikeforce is just trying to put on great shows that people want to see and continue to grow their fan base. They are doing a good job of that.

It is Dana and the UFC shills that are trying to create some kind of competition here.

+1

Overeem vs Rogers was a match up the fans really wanted to see for the title wasn't it? As said I like Strikeforce but man some of the things they do are so rinky dink. Their business model is flawed that's their only problem.

The business model is flawed. How is allowing M1 Global to co-promote with them good business sense? Fedor's a great addition to their roster, but for the amount of money they have to pay him and M1 I don't know if he's worth the investment. I mean Strikeforce probably lost a million dollars alone on their last Fedor event they had.

That number is just a guess on my part, but I can assure you they did not profit one dime off of either of Fedor's fights thus far when you calculate business expense for the events. Now that Fedor has lost they will continue to lose even more money off of the Fedor investment. Only thing it has done is given them more exposure than usually.

For every couple of things Strikeforce does right, they do one thing wrong. That wrong thing is what's always going to stand out with them and the majority of people will just forgot the positives about the company and only remember how flawed they can be.

Strikeforce's business model is flawed because they are trying to act like they are the big time when they are in fact a poor man's UFC.
