unrestricted sponsorship
very little shady behind the scenes actions that we know of
Frank, Cung Le, and Gina are stars
Since they own the production company already, they are able to keep costs down. Producing the event to TV or PPV is the most expensive thing you have to recover from. That and they seem to put on solid shows. They now have a list of recognizable names. Everyone wants to see Gina Carano. And by the way, the announcers aren't butt munchers like Goldie.
lol
Solid business model imo.
Also seems like their matchmaking is structured and geared toward legitimately establishing their weight class titles
Stikeforce's prior success was that they always thought small and regional. They kept to a few local draw star names and just over a handful of shows a year.
Its hard to say if this expansion, which looks like every other failed company (sign a bunch of cast off names, double/triple the number of shows they do a year), will work out because it really contrasts their long running business model.

Mauro is
VectorWega - They don't stack their fight cards with high priced fighters (ala Affliction and PRIDE). They don't overpay their fighters (ala affliction). They haven't come out and tried to compete with the UFC right out of the gates (ala Affliction, WFA, and EliteXC). They have built the fanbase on a smaller more regional level. They haven't built their organization around just 1 fighter (ala EliteXC and to an extent Affliction). Strikeforce's TV events are live (unlike IFL). Strikeforce has good production value (unlike WFA). Strikeforce has good commentating (better than the others especially EliteXC with Goldberg). Strikeforce doesn't appear to be run by scumbags (unlike EliteXC, PRIDE, and Affliction/M-1). Strikeforce has a good TV deal (unlike IFL, PRIDE, Affliction, WFA, and Bodog).
Pretty much agree
They are doing everything right at this stage of the game. Scott Coker is probably the best promoter out there. He has never had the advantage of big money investors, and has never lost money on a show. He built Strikeforce himself from the ground up.
I should also point out that they paired up with EliteXC and survived.

And i respect him for that. But i also have a right to my opinions.
A little constructive criticism never hurt anyone.
If he's as wise as you make him out to be, then he'll be wise enough to take into consideration all advice thrown at him.
Like i already said, i really like Strikeforce. But nobody's perfect. There's still a few things they need to look at.
