Since reading the thread about Hogan and the stories accociated with pro wrestlers, I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how strong some of them were/are? Has anyone here personally witnessed them working out? Just curious as to some bench/squat/deadlift numbers if anyone knows.
Thanks!

Wasn't it "Olympic Strongman Ken Patera"?
Ken Patera was a world strongest man competitor back in the 70's/80's
Mark Henry was a olympian powerlifter.
wow 10 years later and guys are benching over 1000 lbs. Albeit not wrasslers tho.

What about some of the bigger names in the sport - the big guys, like The Big Show, Batista, etc? Anyone know how much they put up?

Not as much as Kaz
Patera looks like a child next to Kaz and Kaz won WSM many times not just competed in it.
Brock Lesner? (running with logs and shit)

Kaz would have been the strongest wrestler ever, of course.
"Mark Henry was a olympian powerlifter."
Powerlifting is not an Olympic sport. Henry was an Olympic weightlifter.
The first picture looks like hockey legend Bobby Orr and teammate Carol Vadnais that Andre's carrying.
