Submission Grappling in Olympics

This thread was probably already made but:

If the world isn't quite ready for MMA in Olympics then why not replace wrestling with sport grappling.

Ultimately mma can replace wrestling, judo, and boxing and free up alot of space but in the interim:

Loose the singlet and replace with submission wrestling... Phone Post

Im working on getting my work published, but ive conpleted an M.A thesis on highlighting and submission grappling in ancient greek pankration. It was done with the intention to help others recognise the legitimate role it played in the Games in pankration, hopefully it can be used to strengthen the case.

Not sure when it will get published but ill bump this thread when it does :) Phone Post

The average nogi match is more boring to a layman then a wrestling match. No chance it happens, and it would just become watered down garbage anyways,

I should also say I would be thrilled to see it in the Olympics, hell I am currently training my ass off for a tournament myself this weekend.

I think once people understood the sport a bit it would increase viewership. Especially because some big name fighters would get involved. Phone Post

Imagine ADCC level grappling in the Olympics.

People would watch this. Phone Post
