Why can't big guys like myself get to fight for the biggest show in MMA? Super Heavy is by far the most action packed and exciting weight class in MMA bar nun.
There is no way I can make 265 pounds to fight so I am stuck in lesser shows. Currently I am 5'11" and walk around at 345 off season and 340 after a pretty rigorous training camp (a good deal of my weight is muscle). My cardio is good at this weight and I am afraid if I cut to 265 I would lose too much strength. Has anyone heard any rumors about the UFC letting us real heavyweights in so we can show the world how it's done?

It's plain stupid to ignore the fact there are bigger people that want to fight, can fight, can pass a physical, can maintain high marketability; just as it was ignorant for some to say "girls are pretty, they shouldn't fight'.

thank you sparkuri thats exactly what we need. How many fights at LW or lower end with a knockout? (no offense to the little guys you just dont have the weight to swing those little hands) I get tired of being forced to watch 3 or 5 five minute rounds for a decision while two guys spar. Again no offense they cant help it and are just working with what they have.
