So I am hooking up my new Vizio 47" LED to my old Sony Home Theater Center (about 7-8 years old).

Do more recent Home Theater Centers connect directly to the TV? My instructions only hook up audio cords and optical digital cord and coax from the main entertainment center box to the dvd/vcr player.

Am I missing something fundamental here?

You hook up the red cord to the W port...white to the F...and yellow to the A...or HDMI to Wrong Forum Asshole
