survey-worked fights

I've just posted adcc fight Matt Hughes vs Jeremy Horn video and some people claim that this fight was a work. Apparently Jeremy or Matt admitted to it.

I was wondering whether people can name matches, grappling or mma, that are believed to be works and sources that made them believe that this is true.

I love watching MMA and grappling matches but I hate watching works

Royce vs Yoshida 2 was a work... Yoshi layed down for Royce as a favor to DSE for the bad reffing from the first fight... Also, the Gracie name is big businees for Pride so DSE officials offered Yoshi up...

"Joe Charles vs Vitor Belfort. Agreement of no punching."

I'd say it was more than just an agreement of no punching. At one point, Vitor has back mount and is going for a rear naked choke, but Charles has his chin under the choke. You can hear Charles say "Work it out." Seems to me like he's telling Vitor to work the choke free.

"Don Frye - Mark Hall 1"

I think you mean Frye/Hall 3. Hall later came clean about this when Frye didn't pay up. Looking at the fight, it looks VERY fishy, so I believe Hall.

Royce Gracie vs Yoshida II was a work by Yoshida.

I trained with Mark Hall a few weeks after that fight and he was limping, So I asked is your ankel still hurt from the Don Frye fight and he gave me a smirk and laughed a bit as if to say yeah that did not hurt me.

Then a few weeks after that Mark put togther a siminar with Don Frye and Brian Johnston. Don Frye and Brian Jhonston seemed to be really annoyed with Mark Hall. Basically they just wanted to do the siminar and get paid. Mark wanted to be there friends. Maybe after that is when Hall came out about the "Work"

nice ameriikan, glad to read some background on these works

I agree Shammy laid down for Franklin. Not a work per se, but once the heelhook was gone Shammy had no desire to win.

Ok, I'll say it: Shannon Ritch vs Dan Severn.

Somersaults. Need I say more?
