I recently went into a Samsung infuse 4g. Coming from the iPhone 4 and i have to say the app is terrible compared too IOS. Wtf i can post or create threads on iPhone and can only read here? What gives? There are 550,000 android phones activated daily. Missing a good market IMO.

A friend has an iPhone and they'll tell me they sent emails that I never receive. I would need to use my toes to count how many times this has happened.
They said android update was coming in 60-90 days so I expect to have a functioning app around 2016 or so. When I read here that they have a working app I'll buy it. Why are people buying this app? It's been posted repeatedly that it blows, yet somehow it's rated 4.5 or 5 stars on the Android Market. Blame the morons who bought the piece of crap and rated it an excellent product.

I switched because i was tired of the 3.5" screen. I wouldn't say iPhone is better though, better camera here, better email integration also IMO. Much more functions to interact with media, bigger screen allows for easier excel file changes. So far this is the first android i have stayed with.
Either way i figured. I would be able to post now that i could create a thread in ios.

May be personal opinion but it's based in reality. Go to just about any phone site and you'll get the general consensus that the Samsung Galaxy S2 is regarded as the best phone on the market. It was only a matter of time before the Iphone fell behind due to being limited to one model while Android has a variety of selections to choose from...
I can Qik video chat though over 3g. That is what kept me on ios was facetime , now i use Qik to chat with my family.
Don't get me wrong IM an iPhone Guy too, but i am really liking this Samsung infuse on hspa. +
I will try the galaxy s 2 when it hits next month.

the amount of dropped calls w/ friends who have iPhones is amazing
the amount of jumbled texts I get from them cause it's too much of a pain to get the touch screen keyboard to turn sideways is also amazing

My iPhone 4 is great. Have had it about 5 months and have never had a problem phone/text/email/internet wise. By far the best phone I have ever had.
My girl has a samsung continuum and I've played around on it and it is a very nice phone as well. The only problems I've ever had with phones seem to all be Motorolas.
IMO when it comes to phones, it's all about personal preference/opinion. Saying that one is the best or worst is kind of silly.
The unsettling thing about discussing ANY Apple product versus another is that you first have to establish if the person you are talking to is an Apple cultist.
If they are, all Apple endorsement must be taken with a grain of salt.
If they are not, thier assessment may be taken at face value.
This is because a certain percentage of Apple users are evangalistic in their APPLE fervor and should be IGNORED!

I have Iphone 4, Nexus and Blackberry Bold 2 for my work. While I can't really compare blackberry to Iphone or Android, I gotta say I will take my Nexus over Iphone any day. Iphone is simple to use and still is a king when it comes to apps, but actual functionality wise, nothing beats Nexus. I never played with Galaxy S2 while I didn't like the first Galaxy. I am sure it has gotten a lot better compare to the first one.

I don't think thats a personal opinion, its pretty much fact at the moment, in a couple of months it could be different but all experts agree the samsung galaxy s II is the best phone on the market at the moment, the iphone 5 may change that.

I'll give you a quick example.
3GS is getting iOS 5, show me a 2009 Android phone that is still relevant?
You guys are saying Galaxy S II... in 3 month there will be a new Galaxy S III and your updates will stop, you won't be getting any new Android features, and you'll be looking to be a new Android phone again.
With the iPhone you have two years worth of updates.
And the user experience is way better.
Can you Skype video someone on Android? No.
Good third party offline GPS navigation? None.
The older Iphones may get the new updates but they usually leave some of the new features out. As far as I'm aware most of the Android phones usually get all of the updates that have came out. If there are some that don't that is usually the carriers' fault.
Since when is it bad to have choices? There's a new Android phone that comes out every other month. Last I checked variety was a good thing. I wouldn't want to have to wait every year to get a phone that is slightly better than last year's version.
Actually Android does have Skype as well Tango.
3rd party navigation? We have built in navigation and offline maps with the new map update which is superior to anything that Apple has. Hell I know people that just recently switched from an Iphone to Android after they saw the built in navigation.

Can you even change a battery on an iPhone? Stick in a new SD card? That is some basic shit I want in a phone.
