always love to see how close we can get to odessa's eventual line...
throw in any other match ups you can think of:
lindland +105
rampage -120
matt is a nightmare for anyone and I believe this fight is at 205, which should still give rampage some size advantage, but I understand matt cuts down considerably to make 185, so he should be stronger than usual... personally, I like lindland winning a decision on this... until rampage shows me his heart is back in the game, I think a fighter like matt could frustrate the hell out of him, intelligently get him down and keep him there for the advantage and points... I imagine the public however would think rampage is just too big for matt and bet his way initially...
babalu +160
liddell -180
I like babalu to win this but I believe the public will be all over liddell and that number is also probably too low on him... I'd guess he'll start at -200... as assinine as it sounds, chuck just does not impress me... maybe it's my traditional striking background and his loopy punches (though they are straightening out) or my belief his lack of ground game hasn't properly been exposed, but I see babalu's greco getting the clinch and taking him down similar to what randy did in their first match... on the ground, I don't see chuck sitting up on babalu... if he tries that escape, I'd be shocked if babalu couldn't capitalize...
bas -290
kimo +260
sort of a guessing game figuring out where bas stands these days but I think kimo is a can in this case... a still recognizable name that will help draw an audience, but has little to no chance of winning...
renzo +190
miletich -170
more guess work but based on renzo's physical state and last few matches, even though he had a good first round against bj, I don't think miletich would take this match unless he was pretty sure he still had enough to take renzo... I am using that more than anything as my reasoning for his number... he already has the legacy and woudln't return, in my opinion, unless he was very sure he would win... renzo is a warrior and will fight anyone... I think the match will be closer than the number, but I don't see renzo subbing miletich and I think pat has a substantial striking advantage... see him nabbing a decision here...
