This is always very much appreciated. But should never be expected. 
Again, Jones was not taking a fight on late notice, he was taking a replacement opponent. Chael was the one taking the fight on late notice. It would have been like Tito Ortiz turning down Patrick Cote when he stepped up to fight him on less notice than what Chael was given.
I was not suggesting anyone did anything wrong. Just promoting discussion.
But since we are here, how is that any different? A new fighter is a new fighter and how similar they are should not matter. Tito and cote along with a number of other fights are examples of guys stepping up. Just because other fighters have doesn't mean that Jones should be expected to also. If i was JBJ I would protect my legacy also.
