Taktarov the actor?

It looks like he might have started the trend of MMAist into actors. I
never would have imagined...

I wonder if he was an inspiration for Tito :P

www.lockflow.com has a little story on what happened to him after the
UFC.

XP-Magus

seen him in a few movies. he did play opposite deniro...

Tito doesn't have the "look" Taktarov has... the look has nothing to do with being good looking... he stands out, is big, crazy/intense eyes and very eastern European looking. Tito needs to shed the bleached hair plastic look cuz there is hardly anything unique going on there.

He was in Bad Boys 2.

He got chopped up and stuffed into a garbage can.

He's been in ALOT of big movies... mostly in the background. great to see he's starting to get into main character parts like Nat'l Treasure

I wouldn't say hes been in the background. His role in 15mins was pretty significant. Nat'l Treasure saw him getting some decent screen time too. IMO Oleg has the acting chops to make a career playing heavies with maybe some comedy thrown in. Tito should take acting lessons from him!

He was also in an episode of alias.

He has that eastern-european heavy look.

Put him in the new Bourne movie I say.

How about diesel guys, a.k.a. big daddy cool, hes the coolest, hence the name.

he was in 44 minutes as well

Now all he needs is a little better grasp of Engrish and he will deserve an Oscar.

44 Minutes was a Tv movie

15 Minutes was a feature film starring DeNiro and Ed Burns. Taktarov had a starring role oppostire them and IMO, stole the show. The director, John Herzfeld, has been hired to pen and direct the UFC film currently in development.

Taktarov has studied acting for many years in LA. It is said when he entered the UFC offices, he told them off the bat he wanted to be an actor. He just completed a film shot in Moscow.

15 minutes and 44 minutes were both movies he was in... hahaha

I love seeing him challenge himself with roles like that in 15 minutes, where he portrays a crazy russian guy named oleg

seriously though, I thought he did a great job
