What do you guys think the relationship between the size of the talent
pool for boxers is in relation to wrestlers in the U.S.? How many more
wrestlers does the average wrestler have to beat out to be an olympian
compared to a boxer? Thanks.

wrestling has a bigger talent pool. Most high schools have a wrestling team, most high schools have no boxing team.
As far as MMA, the biggest talent pool lies in the LW division, 155-160 lbs. simply because before cutting, that is closest to the natural weight class of the avg. man.
