Talk me out of buying a ....

2010 BMW li xdrive in great condition with 74k miles on it for $14,500.

you're gonna die in an accident if you buy that car.

Just go to the BMW dealership, walk into the service bay, and give everyone you see in there $100, then walk out.

I’m all for buying used vehicles. But some brands I just won’t touch. As much as I want and love looking at an E46 M3. There’s no way.

Used Japanese car. Ok. Other than that it’s tough to pull the trigger.

lol do it naked and this thing's a wrap.

If you aren't mechanically inclined and don't have the time or interest in working on a car, you will probably need another savings account just to put money in to maintain it.  My wife had a 2002 at one point, the throttle position sensor went out, it is only available with the throttle body, which is a $1000 part.  That was just one day in the ownership of that car.  The luxury brands are very nice cars when they are new, but end up being high maintenance and expensive to maintain.

Do it Dos,  do it.

It's not nearly faggy enough....

So you’re saying I should just keep my Mazda 3?

Do you like the BMW service department?  Because that is how you end up in the BMW service department!

An 8 year old BMW and you want to know if it's a good buy?

No. No it is not.

BMW has made some of the best cars to drive for many years but their a pain in the ass to maintain. Was looking for an M3 but their V8's run through rod bearings like grass through a goose. Mercedes is even worse, their so over engineered and stuff is so expensive its impossible to maintain.

I’m a used car dealer in Australia so I’ll give you my 2 cents fren. Don’t buy anything European prestige outside of the warranty period unless you are willing to pay a lot for maintenance.

Japanese is definitely the way to go, just remember , when the novelty of having a new toy wears off within the first 3 months all you can be left with is a reliable car you love or a money pit you hate

This car books for 20k. My plan was to have the mechanics at work look it over and if there aren’t any issues buy it for the $14,5000, drive it for a year then trade it in.
