Everyone familiar with my work is familiar with my Delaware River Hunter.

However, not everyone is familiar with its cousin, the Harlem River Hunter. Where the Delaware is made for use on four-legged game, the Harlem is designed for use on the two-legged variety. This knife is forged from thick 3/16" stock and brought down to an EXTREMELY lean edge/tip geometry. It will easily pierce the thickest of outerwear and enter into soft tissue with no resistance to speak of. This is a weapon through and though, so as always, be aware of your local laws before carrying.

This one has been affectionately dubbed the Spinecutter variation of the HRH. Clearly named for the handles. Natural pinecone embedded in a crimson resin. This thing has, “bad intentions” written all over it.

Can’t wait to see which one of you lucky bastards gets this. Whoever takes it will have my genuine envy. Set them alarms for 6PM EST tomorrow!!!

Yours has that raised clip too, which I’m a huge fan of as it does create a wider wound-channel. I thought about incorporating that feature into the Harlem but for a city knife, I think I prefer the sleeker profile.

Yup! That’s the one. Yeah, that’s a raised clip. Lots of work on the edge of the anvil for those. And oh boy, you better hold on tight when doing that work. Hanging red steel off the edge makes it wanna fly back up right in the region of the face. Totally worth it though.

I like your take on the tanto, especially the subtle curve to the spine as it drops toward the front and then how the grind sweeps up to meet it at the point. The bright red at the pommel is damn nice. Looks like it’s a piece of ember with a glowing tip. DAMN nice.

Thank you for noticing that! It’s a very American feature using a subtle curve across the entirety of the spine, but it’s one that I find adds a good bit of style and comfort.
