TBE AGAINST TOBE THE OTHER BEST EVER’S Mayweather

When Floyd Mayweather enters the ring this coming Saturday, it seems to be the self proclaimed “best ever”s final appearance on the big stage in the boxing world. His opponent for his swan song, the 30-3 Andre Berto, might not be the most popular choice for Mayweather, but he is the opponent.. Nevermind the fact that Mayweather just defeated handily the man many felt he needed to defeat to cement his legacy, Manny Pacquiao, there is no opponent here that will satisfy everyone.

But even with Berto not being the best choice for what is likely Mayweather’s final bout, how does this bout stack up against some of the boxing world’s all time greats for both their 49th bout and/or their “final” professional bout? The fighters used here are arbitrary and were simply picked based on their current stature as “all time greats” in the sport:

I would say Roberto Duran is the best fighter I have ever seen.

Used to love Mayweather. Wish he had fought many guys prior to cement his legacy, but it never happened. Wright, Freitas, Tszyu, Casamayor, Oscar earlier, and a Manfredy rematch because that was BS.

I can't say he's the best with his cherry picking his opponents and it pisses me off because he could have beat them all. Phone Post 3.0

The only guy that Floyd didn't fight that I think he should've fought was Margarito.

Also I wanted to see the Paul Spadafora fight.
