T.D. Jakes Launches Colon Ministry
Introduces 'Woman, Thou Art Loosed' laxative

ATLANTA, GA – Bishop T.D. Jakes, the charismatic African-American preacher who authored the "Woman, Thou Art Loosed" self-help series, has launched a new ministry aimed at further "loosening" Christian women everywhere – the Colon Ministry.
During the final night of Jakes' annual Women's Conference Meeting in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, 70,000 women in attendance – with millions more watching live via television – listened intently as Bishop Jakes extolled the virtues of what religioous scholars are calling the first Christian laxative.

For nearly 45 minutes, Jakes sermonized on how constipation is a biblical issue. Near the end of his sermon, a sweating, pacing, animated, and obviously spirit-filled Bishop Jakes explained how the "Woman, Thou Art Loosed" (WTAL) series will now not only provide healing and hope to women suffering from abuse, despair, drugs, prostitution, and jail – the series will now offer relief from C-O-N-S-T-I-P-A-T-I-O-N as well.

"Sisters, don't let the devil stifle your spirituality with extra weight," Jakes said. "Take charge. Be Free. Be Whole. Be loosed to eliminate."

The WTAL series began with the publication of Bishop Jakes 1995 novel, "Woman, Thou Art Loosed," a self-help book chronicling a woman's struggle to overcome a life filled with abuse, addiction, and poverty. It became an instant success and quickly spawned a variety of self-help products for women.

Soon after the book came the WTAL "Loosed to Lead" leadership workbook, cookbook, audio tapes, and DVD series. Many believed that the widely released and successful October 2004 film version of the initial book would be the final offshoot of the WTAL phenomenon, but apparently those predictions were wrong.

Based on the initial response, it appears Jakes' new colon ministry will be a smashing success. The conference's laxative supply was quickly sold out, and the ministry's toll-free hotline and website were inundated with orders.

The laxative comes with a devotional intended to be read while "releasing the devil out of your bowels," a Jakes spokesman said.

Thanks God someone finally adddressed the need for a biblical laxative. Luther believed satan lived in his bowels and this may be the link that begins the exorcism all over christendom. Happy to bring you this report by Zealot66
