Team Revolution (LDMA affiliate - headed up by Jory & Abby Malone) took their team to the Arnold Grappling Championship this past weekend and came out strong. Here are the results:
Alex: Bronze Medal Kids No-Gi; 4th place kids gi
Jeau: 4th place gi {he was just awarded his blue belt two weeks ago - incredible performance}
Wes: Silver Medal No-Gi
Jory: Bronze Medal No-Gi
Abby: Silver Medal Gi, Bronze Medal No-Gi
This is a toough event and competition was stiff. LDMA - High Point is proud of you guys for making such a good representation.
I hear Abby is just the secretary down there, and Jory calls the shots.
We're going to be taking the team to a lot of tournys this year, and I'd like
everyone to get the chance to compete with the team. I'll keep everyone
up to date on what's happening next.

LDMA High Point will do their best to travel and support more events - it's just been hard out here so far. We will step up.
Alex in the no gi. He's been training for 3 months. Got 3rd. Some of the kids in his division I recognized from hanah's division in naga GA. They were all very skilled and traveled a long way to this competition as well.
Abby in Gi.
Wes, been training for 3-4 months. He got 2nd in No Gi. He was also the lightest. He really did a great job.
Jeau...he got his blue belt 2 weeks ago. He had 12 ppl in his gi division and got 4th. Fought 2 nova uniao guys right off the bat. He really had an impressive performance.
Jeau's hair kills me - even while he is competing his hair doesn't move.
Congrats to your young man who has only been training 3-months and doing so well at a prestigous event.
Your big guy (bald head in no-gi) looks fierce. The one pic looks like he's about to slam his opponent to the other side of the globe :)
