He's fighting Shawn Jordan tonight. I've never seen him in action however I have seen his name mentioned a few times. Sounds like a very big heavyweight. Anyone tell me what to expect?
He isn't very good at put put
I remember watching his Tachi Palace fight before he got signed to the UFC. Got a nice headkick KO. Looked to have great potential with a 7-0 record at the time. Didn't see his last fight but he got TKO'd by Derrick Lewis. He trains with Josh Barnett so I got my eye on him.
The Black Beast Beasted him.
Aparently he's a good kickboxer....
Good striker. Fought in K-1 and Glory heavyweight tournaments. His fight with Derrick Lewis was fun, he got pounded out iirc just needs to tighten up his ground game
Well that's that
Apparently has no takedown defense. Any time your corner has to remind you to keep your other hand up it's not a great sign.
he ruined some of my bets tonight
It was good to see Tim Sylvia back in the UFC in his home state.
Jack Brown - It was good to see Tim Sylvia back in the UFC in his home state.Lol!!!
Jack Brown - It was good to see Tim Sylvia back in the UFC in his home state. He's Tim Sylvia Light.
Between Jordan's tattoo that looks like it was drawn by Napoleon Dynamite and May's 'Born to be hated, live to be loved' script across his chest that suggests maybe he was an unplanned pregnancy I had quite a hard time concentrating on the fight
Yelm - Apparently has no takedown defense. Any time your corner has to remind you to keep your other hand up it's not a great sign.Seriously.
I understand you can get taken down, but his defense consisted of hoping Jordan didn't try.
Just for nostalgia, I wish big Tim had had that spot.
I try to never criticize fighters ability. He's done something right to be there. But it wasn't a great showing.
He is the slowest fighter I have seen in awhile. He makes giant silva look like Mighty Mouse in the swiftness department.
