Tennessee BJJ schools

If you train BJJ in Tennessee could you please post your school name, instructors name and rank, and contact information.

Even if it's more of a club than a school, please post the information anyway. Thanks in advance!

I heard Mickey Swafford is the man and is now in Chatanooga TN.

Hi Jackel,

I train BJJ in Memphis under David Ferguson. He's a purple belt and our school is under Adriano Lucio of BTT. Our school is Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu and I believe you can contact David Ferguson at fdavidbjj@aol.com.

I used to train with Jonathan Border at Germantown Martial Arts. He's a brown belt with Nova Uniao, and a brown in Judo (he's one blackbelt divisions in the TN state champs a few times and teaches Judo as well). Oh, and he's certified to teach Thai under Master Toddy.

Give him a call at (901) 283-0871 (and tell him Kyle from Australia says hi as well.

Oh, and I've run into David years ago at Chad's back in Memphis. He was the smoothest blue I had ever met, and I'm sure he's only getting better.

Cheers,

Kyle

Hey,

There is a school in Cookeville, TN. Make sure you do not forget about that one. Sorry to see you go man.

K2,

David just opened up his own school away from Chad's with quite a number of guys training now. I can't really imagine him as a blue belt =]

Jackel: Whats all this crazy talk about training in other schools? If you're not training in Atlanta you're not training!

HH,

That's cool that David has a school now, and I'm sure that training with BTT will only make David scarier. I'm probably going to come back for a week and train with Jonathan, but I'd like to drop in to David's as well. Do you guys have a website? Also, is anyone training between Christmas and New Years at all?

Cheers,

Kyle

K2,

We do not have a website or anything, but David posts on here with the screenname "Memphis" and his email is fdavidbjj@aol.com. I'm pretty sure that some of us will be around during the Christmas and New Years holidays. I know I will be.
