lets hope not. For all the people clamoring for bjj athletes to get paid and for the sport side to one day make the Olympics, closing out divisions and working matches has GOT to be eliminated period.

Isn't Sergio Moraes competing in middle-heavy? I know that's what he competed at Europeans. Lots of good matches for Terere, he really makes things even more interesting this year.

He has a lot of his training dialed, and then he is eating white bread!?! and drinking juice?
I hope he and Marcelo meet at some point. He is one of the very few to neutralize Marcelo at the same weight, but that was a long, long time ago.
Last partner's socks were pretty weird.
Terere looks serious but also troubled and dark. I can see why, given his recent past. I very much hope, regardless of tournament results, that this process of return helps bring him peace and that he continues to contribute his unique talents as an athlete and coach.

I would love to see this match up too. However, if he is repping Alliance, I dont think they will be competing against each other (unless Fabio Gurgel and Jacare have a change of heart about teammates competing against each other at the Mundials)

I agree with all points made by John. He may be genetically gifted, but his diet, at least as it appears in this piece, is not helping his efforts. His choice of running shoes for snatches and other work is crazy. That aside, I love the guy's game. I would love to see him win the darned thing. I also thought the piece was fun to watch. Nice work.
There are some people that can eat total garbage and still be in incredible shape. I hate those people.
