Never heard of it but it seems like an overly complicated way of making extra payments to the principal on your mortgage.

Yea, I've heard of it. It's a way to pay your mortgage off faster and it works but you pay for the convenience of it.

Much easier and cheaper to just make one single extra mortgage payment every year. Would do the same EXACT same thing and it won't cost you a penny in administrative fees. I think the way the math works out, one extra payment every year will reduce your mortgage by 10.5 years. Phone Post 3.0
