I think that Terry is going to KO him, if he couldnt handle Kyles punch I doubt that he will be able to handle Terry's.
Irvin's inability to handle Kyle's punch was do to a fundamental mistake that I guarantee will be fixed for this fight. I don't care if Royce Gracie is throwing the punch. If your hands are down at your waist your going to get tagged and quite possibly ko'd.

Basically Irvin seemed like a completely different fighter against Kyle ... The mass media affects a very high percentage of newcomers to The UFC in the same way. They freeze up early .. some work past it, others get stopped/submitted/etc ... before they are able to calm down and lose the butterflies.
Also, I heard Irvin was fighting someone else on the Spike card ... errr, so either plans have changed, or my info is off a bit..lol

I don't no how true is this info is because they are both WEC champs. This would be a great fight for both tough dudes, but could problably get more money and publicity headlining the WEC show then fighting in the undercard UFC.

i think being a prelim on a UFC ppv has more exposure
than a WEC headlining fight if it gets shown.
I'm interested in Irvin ability ot make weight. he semm pretty lean now are what 230. He going to drop 24 pounds??? I don't know man???
UFC does have alot of exposure, but being a prelim fight, may not make the PPV if the other fights go the distance. WEC events is now shown regularly on HDNET. This fight will be good.
Even though Irvin is lean, he has muscle to lose. Cutting weight, especially in the upper weights when your muscular means you have to stop heavy strength training and focus on higher repitition exercsies. You just can't starve yourself and lose weight. Eat healthy and exercise like crazy. If he has experience at cutting alot of weight no problem, if its his first time he has to do it right or he will have no energy fight time.
I understand that the UFC has a tendency to make fighters a little star struck, however I do not see Terry being this way.
Mark my words the PPV audience is going to be introduced to the Mike Tyson of MMA.
People are either going to like Terry a lot or really hate him, regardless everyone is going to want to pay to watch him fight.
A rematch with Stephan Bonnar would be a barn burner.
