If you have some mysterious medical condition that requires you to take steroids you should go find another line of work. Think about how many people in the UFC must be on this ridiculous therapy. All you need is to be tired and irritable.
don't think that'd get past legal challenges.

You don't know what your talking about. The problem isn't the therapy it's people using it without a prescription or not as prescribed. And yes tired and irritable are 2 of the symptoms but blood test actually reveal your testosterone levels. I'll tell you straight upi fight and I'm on testosterone replacement, But I use it as prescribed and the drug test I take for the AC's come back clean. You need to learn what your talking about before you open your mouth OP so you don't sound ignorant!
The Dean of Bean - You are a dumbass OP. The fighters who cannot get cleared by the AC are fighters who ABUSED TRT and had HIGHER than normal levels of testosterone in their body. However, most fighters currently on TRT are former roiders.
This is true

What the fuck are u saying. So former roiders should be permitted to continue to use roids?
therapy under doctors orders and closely monitored so you dont go to high is not a bad thing.
all the young guys here on this forum that have a negative opinion on this, i bet it changes when you are in your late forties.
i went from the low 400's to the high 600's and feel much better. doc says i can go as high as 900.
i'll get another injection this fri.
wifey loves it too ;)
there are many good reasons for test replacement but I am guessing most fighters dont fit into that category. and it shouldnt be really high if on it, the number would be normal still.
Could someone more smarter than me explain testosterone therapy to me. Is it just a legal loophole to use or is there more to it. I got a late start in the fight game(36yo) and nutrition and supplementing do not seem to be working the same way as the younger crowd. Would lower levels have anything to do with weight? Thanks UG!
A 47 year old having the testosterone levels of a 22 year old is anything but "Natural".
1oldfart - therapy under doctors orders and closely monitored so you dont go to high is not a bad thing.whatever you do in your private life..i dont care..i am not saying this therapy should be illegal..im saying the athletic commissions should not permit it for fighters...you know, these professional athletes that use their bodies as weapons to damage and concuss other human beings...

Goku- you seem a little irritable and moody. you might want to get you test checked.

I like the excuse they used for Randy, "He does not cheat, all he does is simply bring his testosterone levels to normal". Yea normal for a 20 year old kid...

That would make sense if you were allowed to have supraphysiological testosterone levels. But that is illegal
Your argument is equivalent to saying that Cain should not be allowed to have surgery on his shoulder so he can use it as a normal person. He tore it, so he should just have to live with it. Its absurd that he is allowed to repair it
MMA orgs that let blokes use HRT HGH TRT and or steroid should also allow cocaine and PCP as long as they are pulling the classic bait and switch on their dumass customers. they advertise a contest between athletes but when you get to the store its a contest between chemists and laboratories. this is why real athletes think all the pussies ran over to mma when they failed at sports. cause they knew they could juice and cut wieght and be glorified for whuppin up on a much smaller bloke that is not on drugs.

Kizer is now saying that anyone on TRT with a history of PED use will not be eligible for a license. They will either have to compete with untreated low test levels, or go with the TRT and retire.
He also says there are ways to distinguish 'natural' low test levels from PED-induced low test levels, basically saying that the kind Marquardt is on is a result of PED use.

Neither is TRT. In order to be performance enhancing you need to have an edge over the rest. Increasing your testosterone levels to the same levels as your opponents is hardly performance enhancing.
Its exactly the same thing as healing an injured shoulder. Im not talking about the obvious roiders like Sonnen or Nate. But someone like Henderson or Randy do have low testosterone because of their age. You are saying they shouldnt be allowed to repair their levels but retire. How is that different from someone fixing a torn knee?

I agree with OP and what you are saying is not making sense, since there is no way the Doctor doing CAin's surgery is going to somehow make Cain's arm stronger than it naturaly could be.
[EDIT] I think the worst part is for fighters who don't want to do this, and are competing against you thinking you are NOT cheating. while the cheaters are thinking "well everyone else is doing it, I need to do this to stay competative." NOOOOO, not every figher is doing this. The guy you are fighting is fighting with lower levels than you.
HOw about we make a seperate division let's call it the "PED Divison." YOu can be the "PED Division Champion" if you like

HRT gives you NORMAL testosterone levels. Not higher than anyone else out there
Gokudamus stole my name -you are totally missing the point...how often do you think these guys are tested for their levels? every day? No, so they cycle and get their levels really high and then drop them when they need to be tested.goku -Gokudamus stole my name -uhhh...no not the equivalent...torn shoulder surgery is not a known performance enhancing druggoku -1oldfart - therapy under doctors orders and closely monitored so you dont go to high is not a bad thing.whatever you do in your private life..i dont care..i am not saying this therapy should be illegal..im saying the athletic commissions should not permit it for fighters...you know, these professional athletes that use their bodies as weapons to damage and concuss other human beings...
