Testosterone "therapy" should not be allowed by AC

also its different, again, because testosterone is used to enhance peformance..if you have lower levels, you have lower levels...

what about guys like me that were born smaller, slower, and weaker. we are not naturally lean and/or strong &fast. what if we want to play mma, or any other sport? be fair.

do you know they have basketball leagues where they lower the rim. to make it fair ok buddy, everyone isnt shaq, ir akeem, or wilt chamberlain. just look at the package.

If you are not above the 4:1 legal limit then you are not enhancing performance. While your point about off season testing is valid. The whole HRT point is actually moot since even if HRT is made illegal, it makes zero difference since you can just buy steroids and cycle off to beat the reference limit. What change do you think would happen realistically?

The proper procedure would be to keep HRT licenses but do in camp testing on the athletes approved for HRT. That way the athletes who are not abusing the system get a chance to keep fighting and the athletes who are abusing the system get busted

The people who use steroids on their own will still get away with it either way. Banning HRT will just hurt the old guys who need it, not the roid abusers

Is using get the same as human growth hormone? Similar? Totally different? Phone Post

Is using human growth hormone the same as this* Phone Post

You can get a doctor to put you on this very easily. All you have to do is run some test for a few weeks, enough time for your body to slow/stop producing test. Then a few weeks (depending on the esther) after your last shot you go see a doc and complain, giving the symptoms from low test.

The doc will test you see that your levels are lower bc your body stopped producing test. The doc will then prescribe you test and once your natural test comes back you now have an unfair training advantage.

Now to piss clean the night of the fight, you just have to stop your "therapy" to allow enough time for your levels to drop. Again this will all depend on the esther of the test since some have much longer half-life than others.

In some cases you can get test and growth hormone, which would give anyone a huge advantage.

op is a dumbass. You don't get trt for being tired and irritable. You get it when you have blood tests that show you are not producing enough testosterone.

I'm on TRT and have been for 8 yrs or so.

And to the above poster it is not the same as HGH in any way.

goku - If you have some mysterious medical condition that requires you to take steroids you should go find another line of work. Think about how many people in the UFC must be on this ridiculous therapy. All you need is to be tired and irritable.
You don't know what your talking about. The problem isn't the therapy it's people using it without a prescription or not as prescribed. And yes tired and irritable are 2 of the symptoms but blood test actually reveal your testosterone levels. I'll tell you straight upi fight and I'm on testosterone replacement, But I use it as prescribed and the drug test I take for the AC's come back clean. You need to learn what your talking about before you open your mouth OP so you don't sound ignorant!

just curious if you don't mind...was that the first thing the doc suggested when you told him you were tired and irritable? Did he test for that right away or look at some other medical problems first and rule them out.

Well actually I have been to 2 separate doctors now, a regular MD and an Endocrinologist who specializes is this sort of thing. To answer your question the 1st doctor I saw did a blood test and my test levels came beck at 128 which is very low, normal range is (300-800) for males and me being only 28 my level should be up around 700ish so he started me on the injections. My question which he didn't give me a clear answer is WHY is my test so low and why am I having to take injections just to try to feel normal? I then decided to go see a specialist who took me off of the testosterone for 2 months and gave me a fairly strict diet to stick to. After the 2 months my blood was checked again and the doctor set me up to have an MRI done because some of the levels in my blood weren't right. I had the MRI done this past Friday and got the results yesterday that showed I have a small tumor in my pituitary gland so now he wants to monitor is so I have to have another MRI done in 6 months and we will go from there. For now he put me back on testosterone injections which sucks because I feel like I'm right back where I started Phone Post

The Dean of Bean - You are a dumbass OP. The fighters who cannot get cleared by the AC are fighters who ABUSED TRT and had HIGHER than normal levels of testosterone in their body. However, most fighters currently on TRT are former roiders.

This is true

No. It's not true. If you don't have enough testerone to want to beat the shit out of your opponent then go home and hump your wife you should be bagging groceries or selling vacuum cleaners door to door. You then dont have what it takes to be a fucking fighter. I think all UFC fighters should be tested on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The it's OK to takes roids as long as you piss clean the day of the weigh ins is fucking ridiculous.

I could get off testosterone and beat the shit out of you. I personally am not on it to make me a better fighter nor did I feel I had any kind of advantage in my last fight when I was on test. Fuck I lost! It's easy for you, a keyboard warrior who the closest you have ever come to being a fighter was the purchase of that new Tapout shirt in the mall say who can and can't cut is as a fighter. Not everybody abuses it, as I said before if you use it as prescribed you have no advantage over your opponents. In the long run if they ban it then so be it, I will sacrifice that too along with many other things I already have to continue fighting because I am a fucking fighter! Phone Post

I know test is not the same as HGH. I was stating that at some of the clinic's that specialize in TRT also prescribe HGH and that the combination of test and HGH is very powerful

Absolutely not.
