My goal is to go train in thailand(phuket) for one month of hardcore thai boxing.should take my skills to a whole new level in terms of striking.Just curious if anyone else here is going around jan/feb of 2007? I would feel more comfortable if i knew there were some other canadians training there aswell.Later

I trained in Koh Sumai at the WMC earlier this year. We didn't have any Canadians or Americans at the camp. I found it was mostly Australian and European (mostly from England).
Hardcore muaythai ,phuket and one month can not all be in the same sentence.
One month you're just getting your feet wet. So yes pick a beach front gym and enjoy yourself.

Team Tompkins is the best muay thai gym in Canada hands down. As for Thailand I'm gonna be training at the fairtex gym in Pattaya starting July of 07 but that may be too late.
I'm going to Thailand during the college school break in march.
