I get what you are saying but there are 50 threads talking about what GSP should and shouldn't do. OP made a thread to pay respect to GSP if this is indeed his retirement.
I know this is an extreme example, but it's kind of like not wanting Westboro baptist church at military funerals... it's not the time for protesting, it's the time for paying respect.

I can't believed the dipshits that believe GSP has something to prove. There is not one fighter in the ufc, Hendricks, who hasn't had close decisions. GSP has fought the best in the world, in one of the toughest divisions, for a decade.
He's proved all that he has to.

I gave you the last word on the topic we were discussing, then addressed the question you asked about the relevance of our argument. I made no attempt to gain the upper hand, I just said in those situations where people go back in forth from a certain perspective, no one wins, everyone looks stupid, but someone has the potential to make themselves look more stupid.
