I was a longtime fan of jiu-jitsu and I let ego keep me out of a gym for years. After listening to your podcast since the beginning I finally wanted to go at it as hard as possible and joined a Jean Jac affiliate in my area. I did jiu jitsu since 2004. I quit after getting my blue and getting my ass kicked for years. Then I rolled at my house with friends and small clubs around the area and quit completely. Came back after the podcast because I was over being a puss. The learning curve was a lot smaller for me being around so long. So 2 promotions in 2.5 years. Also you can troll your boat down the stream with the McDojo biz because it took multiple guys in my gym 15 year to get black belts. People go at different speeds. Phone Post 3.0
