Thanks to the Robbie Lawler fans

Just wanted to say thanks to all of the die hard Robbie Lawler fans out there. Things are really coming together well for him. Also want to say thanks to the fellas down at American Top Team. The chemistry down there is amazing and have been very welcoming to Robbie and myself. A big thanks has to begin with where it all started as well, with Pat Miletich and all the fellas that have put in work with him. (especially sparring partners :) ). The things that Robbie is doing now, he's done in spurts throughout his career. The only major difference is his consistency and really his knowledge of himself. Its just a right the time, and culmination of a life of experience. Add that to the coaching staff and athletes that you have at ATT, only good things are gonna happen from here.

Why all tools are available now, at 170? In my opinion, its simple. He knows folks cant just hold him down at 170, so it opens up the offense.

Robbie isn't the guy to call folks out, so I wont be either. I do remember at the end of Hughes' run on two occasions when he lost, mainly the second time to GSP. Helping me in the corner that night was Robbie Lawler. I remember thinking, I have something for GSP still. Then again, with Matt's loss to Koscheck, I looked over at Rob thinking, I have something for Koscheck. I guess time will only tell if I was right about both.

I'm not delirious though. I'm not ready to give Robbie a title yet. We beat a very tough and game Bobby Voelker. I have the upmost respect for that guy who came to fight and on 2 weeks notice. In my mind, Robbie did what he was suppose to. There are still 8 great fighters ahead of Rob, but I have the upmost confidence in him. Its quite special to see that there are many folks that are still right there with us still throughout the years. Thanks!

Great job, Matt.

So happy he's resurging back into the sport. Killer with KO power.. Always happy to see him win.

Robbie is the man, If he makes title run that would be one of the most badass moments in MMA history.

Congrats to Robbie and I hope he continues to tear up the division.

Robbie looked like a machine in there. So polished, so aggressive. anyone in his weight class should be avoiding eye contact with him right now. Phone Post 3.0

op's post is ruthless

If I wasn't a fan before, I definitely have become one from his last ten or ado fights. He's full on beast mode now.

Congrats to you and Robbie on the success.

Rory MacDonald should be next and I think Lawler has what it takes to beat him.

I love having him back in the UFC and being a killer. I had a few opportunities to work out with him when he was at PowerMMA for a little bit. Nice guy. Scary puncher Phone Post 3.0

Feed Rory to Robbie IMHO Phone Post 3.0

great job to you and robbie. all that accumulated work is really showing, he looked unstoppable.

one thing i always liked about robbie is that he's super respectful, win or lose. Even against diaz when he was supposed to win, he still looked upset but he was very respectful. I loved the manhoef fight too where he was getting leg kicked all to hell but he just kept coming and got the KO.

robbies a fighter ill always be interested in watching fight for sure.

Had the pleasure of meeting Robbie here in St. Louis as well as seeing him fight live a couple times. Since his first run in the UFC I always thought once he puts it all together and grows a bit as a person he will be unstoppable. I never have and never will miss a Robbie fight! Can't wait to see what future holds for him and his team. Phone Post

Fan for sure Phone Post 3.0

He put on a great performance and I hope he does well in his coming fights. I got to hang out with him at an MMA event back in 2002 when Jens Pulver fought Rob Emerson. He was super cool and down to Earth.

Been a fan since I started watching by far my favorite fighter its been a rough few years as a fan knowing he has yhe talent but seems off some fights I'm glad he he is putting everything together now Phone Post

Thank you

Nothing but respect. I absolutely love Robbie's warrior spirit even after being in the fight game for so many years.
