That was actually a smart time to give the fight up for Diaz

I understand it doesn’t look great, but Diaz is a warrior and he’s earned his stripes. He doesn’t have to prove anything at this point.

I think he realized he was done and would only continue to take unnecessary damage if the fight continued on.

You could definitely tell he wasn’t prepared for this, came into the fight fat.

All those things considered, it was a reasonable performance. I wouldn’t mind seeing him continue to fight if he comes in shape next time. He’s still got hands, defended incredibly well throughout the night tbh. Just seemed a little sloppy/ rusty.

I’m sure there’s more than a few legend fights for him to take
