BTW, VU, this has got to be a rough place after your dad fights - folks take things her personally enough when it's just someone they are a fan of but never met! And while I agree with the folks talking points vs. damage there was no robbery like some are claiming given the rule set in place, he brought the volume game to Andy. How's your dad feeling/looking today? I hope he doesn't have scarring/easier cut issues in the future a la Diaz, Wandy, etc as NOBODY wants to see fights end from those.

Bisping outstruck him in 4/5 rounds and controlled the octagon for the vast majority of the fight. He dropped him and almost finished him in the 2nd. Your reading comprehension needs some work. I only wrote 3 lines. Pay attention.
1. I agree with your first 2 sentences. In fact, it's in my post right up there. I said Bisping out-pointed him. He won the decision (see line 1 of 3).
2. Lol at "controlled the Octagon" and "almost finished him". Andy had this fight exactly where he wanted (have you never seen an Anderson fight before?), except for the 1 time Bisping knocked him down, which is where you say he "almost finished him". Andy started throwing upkicks right as he hit the canvas. What's laughable is that you think he almost finished him instead of the other way around, ya know, what with the flying knee and Vitor KO kick and all. Oh yeah, and his wrecked face.
He out-pointed him for the decision win - not because of this fantasy you've dreamed up.
3. I never said Andy kicked his ass for 25 minutes. He did beat the shit out of him, but not every minute of the fight, no (see lines 2 of 3).
What I will say, that the Bisping fans who show Silva zero respect on here and bash him will not, is congrats to Bisping for the win. Points or finish, a win is a win - and he has a hell of a chin taking that flying knee and Vitor kick.
All I said in my post that you quoted is that Silva beat the hell out of him on his way to that win. Silva did not get beat up, he got out-pointed (hence line 3 of 3).

If you don't call your face getting put into a food processor an ass kicking I'd hate to see a fighter getting his ass kicked by your standard. Calpokid has balls to even post on this site and interact with us. I appreciate it and think he's a good kid. I've also came around when it comes to Mike and feel he acts nothing like he did when he came off of TUF.
With that said, I won't let his son being present on a thread deter me from giving me honest opinion when it comes to Bisping and MMA. I agree that Mike didn't get his ass kicked for the whole 25 minutes. He got his ass kicked though. He made physical contact with Anderson more but Silva hurt and damaged Mike more. As a sport, Mike won. As a fist fight, Anderson won. I'm honestly fine with Mike getting the win though.
I'm ok with it because I don't feel it means much as it once could have. Does beating Silva now with everything that's happened with him indicate that Mike is ready to be the champion of the Middleweight division? What it is to me is the 3rd win in a three fight win streak. It would mean the same thing if Anderson had won the fight considering everything with Mike, a win.
