First full length album I bought with my own money. I was 11. Back in Black (song) is a banger and still holds up. You can still hear it cranked to 11 on the Himalayan ride when the fair rolls into town.

Metallica released their debut album “Kill 'Em All” 38 years ago today! It was this album that not only changed metal forever, but made way for the genre now known to the world as thrash metal!

Metal Church just broke the news that their singer Mike Howe (the voice of several songs such as “Badlands”, “Fake Healer”, “The Human Factor”, “Date With Poverty”, etc.) died today. We send our sincerest condolences to Mike’s family, friends and bandmates in Metal Church, he will never ever be forgotten! R.I.P. - hope some of you Pure Rockers out there are playing some Metal Church in his memory.
