The Best Lose by KnockOut !!!!

I just noticed the trend the last couple of years. When the best eventually lose, they tend to lose by KO. Randy Coutoure, Rampage Jackson, Wanderlei. Arlovsky, hell even Tito, all met the end of their streaks by KO. I guess that's the only way to beat the best.

incidently, you faced a very tough dude at sportfighting. i was surprised you took that fight, as he's fought at 205 before and cuts quite a bit of weight.

even crocop has

Yeah only losers like Nog, Cro Cop, Barnett, Wandy, Henderson, Arlovski, Penn, Rogerio, and Arona have lost by decision over the last couple of years.

When your from New York City, you just grow up having to be willing to fight anyone offered or challenged, especially tough guys. It's in our culture to never back down from any challenge. We fight whoever in front of us, unless told not too by a higher authority, (coaches, promoters, managers, GOD, NYPD etc.)

I just hope that I my next fight is the same caliber. I learned a lot and I want to keep fighting guys that good. AND OFCOURSE I HOPE TO FIGHT HIM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE !!! I even emailed him to let me know if any of his future opponents back out at the last minute for any reason.

BigWilliam,

I didn't say all I said a lot. Why are so many posters here on their period. And it's usually the end of their winning streak.

I think that when the top guys eventually lose, they lose by knockout because they ALWAYS go for it which is the reason they reached the top in the first place.

Fightjunky, this is true, especially in the case of Randy Coutoure and Arlovsky Silva, and it's funny because that point is proven more when the third time they fought they were both afraid and weren't going for it. Hence the boring snoozefest that was the third fight.

Tito's reign initailly ended with a lopsided decision for Couture. He had already fallen from the top when Chuck KO's him.

In general, though, some these guys (Couture, Rampage, and Arona for example) have the type of style that make it hard for them to lose a decision, so the only way you can beat them is to KO them. Take Hughes for example, I dont know if its possible for him to lose if he doesnt get KO's or submitted. I dont know if anyone could beat Hughes 3 out of 5 rounds.
