The Canadian who won the Sao Paulo Open

Jake Mackenzie.

The kid is legit

Trained with him quite a bit as a purple/brown. Extremely talented and good work ethic, glad to see he's doing well. Phone Post 3.0

Done a few seminars with him. Deep half master. Great guy too. Phone Post 3.0

Had a match with him at brown belt. He is a real beast. I believe he has a instructional out on half guard? If so go buy it! Phone Post 3.0

I don't think you can buy it anymore. It was part of a four or five disc DVD package with Cyborg and he had a disc.

The site's not working anymore and I haven't found another place to buy it.

It was a bad ass DVD though. Here is a sample technique I uploaded a while back

TTT for Jake, deserves more exposure, this is huge accomplishment.

We did a seminar with him a few years ago in Ottawa. Was a great teacher and nice guy. He was doing some cool deep half stuff back then, so I can only imagine what his game looks like now! Is he still with Cyborg, or with GFTeam?

cool technique. anyway to find his DVD or vids of the moves he shows?

Agreed...he needs much more exposure.

Keep it going Jake,

Baki

He's with GFTeam now but still has a good relationship with Fight Sports guys as far as I know. He's been living with and training with GFTeam for years now, so the switch made sense. Phone Post 3.0
