So you just cut and pasted this from HELWIG's thread.
Sweet.
And ya i still have it on VHS somewhere around here.
That show was basicly Extreme Fighting 5.Something happened so Perreti had to switch it from NHB to grappling.
It was advertised has grappling only a good month before hand.
Who would have though Hume and Shamrock would have dominated in the way they did,Monday and Hendo looked lost out there.
I ordered it live. It was pretty boring.
have it on tape

I was the one that posted it on HELWIG'S thread. Didn't know I couldn't do that. Next time I'll ask you.

The show was advertised as grappling from the beginning.
It also had USA Wrestling as an advertiser and partner.
It was grappling from the get go.I still have one of the event posters and it was advertised months before in blackbelt. The show only did 4500 ppv's.Barnes vs Newton was the best match of the event.
I never said it was advertised has anything other then a Grappling event.
But if you remember back then you would know that it was Perreti's show and he was the one who promoted Extreme 1-4.
Contenders came out shortly after Extreme 4 and had numerous guys on it that had been fighting in Extreme (Hume,Andre Pedinaries,Kenny Monday)
Perreti always had a hard time when he promoted NHB events so he tried something a lil easier.
