munoz defeats maia by unanimous decision

Munoz = BJJ purple belt and division 1 wrestler.

Not to mention Maia had staph and won the fight.

Munoz trains jiu jitsu with some of the best around. Phone Post

That was a close fight that could have gone either way. I actually thought Maia won.

Basically Just Judo is here to stay

If your implying that Maia was robbed you obviously didn't see the fight, Munoz won the fight, Maia won round 1, Munoz won 2 And 3.

Maia did not win. What fight were you guys watching. 30-27 is ridic but the right man got the win. Phone Post

Maia was very impressive. Phone Post

Been dead for quite a while now.

close fight, imo third round could have gone either way, but 30-27 is horrible

"30-27 is horrible"

True, but the right guy won. Scorecards are just something for fans to bitch over. As long as the right guy wins I don't think anyone should care that much.

The decision went to the right bloke. Maia won the first and lost 2 and 3... Phone Post

I had Maia 29-28. Phone Post

Yep... that was a wrestling d'arce choke that Munoz attempted.

And he used his wrestling to win. It was the difference. If the BJJ religious cult actually learned wrestling, the outcome may have been different.

Wrong.  This is exactly what is wrong with judging.  If you allow one fucked up judge to get away with this shit it is only a matter of time til you get two of them judging the same fight (or 3 in the Omigawa fight).

Maia 29-28
