THE DEATH OF MI MMA......

LAZY N ZACK BURNS RUN A SHOW UP IN NORTHERN MI CALLED NWK....THEY DON'T HAVE PROPER MEDICAL STAFF AND THERE CAGE CUTS PEOPLES BACKS AND THERE IS A HUGE GAP AT THE BOTTOM WHICH A FIGHTER GOT HIS TOE RIPPED OFF!!!! A FEMALE FIGHTER BROKE HER LEG AND THEY WRAPPED IT WITH TAPE N CARDBOARD!!!! UNREAL RIGHT??? FACT......THEY LET KIDS FIGHT N TELL THEM JUST NEED SOMEONE TO SIGH THE PAPERWORK.....NOT THERE PARENTS.....ANYONE!!

NOW THERE LATEST SHOW THE CAGE IS RIGHT TO THE CEILING.....ACTUALLY TOUCHING IT.....THEY DON'T LET THERE FIGHTERS GO TO ANY OTHER SHOWS OR TRAINING.....

THEY ALSO LET A KID FIGHT W/O HIS PAPERS HAVING EMERGENCY CONTACTS.....THE KID GOT KO'ED AND WENT INTO SEIZURES.....AND THEY HAD NO ONE TO CALL.....

SIMPLY PATHETIC.......WHAT DO YOU GUY'S THINK ABOUT FIGHTING IN A SHOW LIKE THIS????

THERE IS PLENTY MORE ABOUT THERE SHADY DOINGS......

JUST FELT I HAD TO LET THIS OUT AS I FOUND ALL THIS OUT RECENTLY......THERE IS PROF OF EVERYTHING I HAVE SAID......

No bueno.

"DADDY?"-BWS

sorry for the cap lock.......i noticed part way threw n am to lazy to retype......

I will see if there are pics of her leg like that.....

I can send picks of there cage to anyone that can post em!!

LOL!!! sorry you did not win.....but i did......

need more input

Sanctioning pros and not having oversight on Ammy's is just plain dangerous. Unfortunately, no one will act until a death occurs. Then there will be a ban. If a state sanctions pros, it's really not much more work to sanction ammy's as well. More money for state, safer, and promoters can use ammy's to pay for pros = win/win

look at that cage!!!! there financing has been cut it looks like......they should fad away.....

they held a show outside in the rain with only the dj's light!!!!!

Sounds like every other ammy show in MI. Does the promoter match his schools start students against opponents that have no training? Does he pay fighters to drop out of competing shows? That's about the only things missing.

that's the point of this post....we self regulate for now....It's all we can do at this point.....and these cat's can bring it all down with this mess of a show......

We succesfully self regulated in MA for about 6 years averaging about 2-3 shows a month. Thankfully, we got most all the "players" on board and never allowed a show to happen without dr's, EMT's, etc. Sure there were some hiccups along the way, but the scene thrived and there were never any "serious" issues. Given, it's a smaller state, but the KEY is getting people on board who will hold the line and shut the show by walking away if necessary. If the promoters risk losing money and really believe that guys will walk if they don't meet the standard, they tend to either get on board or go away. Unfortunately, now with all the popularity, there are too many clowns looking to fight regardless of the conditions or big picture.

Is there any kind of "grass roots" possibility of organizing or is the cat out of the bag?

I've been involved in most all aspects of the game and if you are ever looking for info (checklists, outlines, etc) feel free to email me as I think I still have most of that stuff.
