Can someone please explain to me in detail what this submission is? I know its an Eddie Bravo move/term...but how do you do it & what is part of body being submitted?
Thanks...

When you roll into a Cali Meat flap, you put you hands behind you opponents neck to fake the 360 Crocodile shake. Thrust your hips hard toward the ceiling and you have the electric chair
Old wrestling move imo. You lift the guy on your shoulders in a sitting position like they are sitting in a chair, then slam your opponent on the back of there neck and shoulders to the matt. You can then get a pin fall.
I think it's more of a sweep than a submission - If I'm thinking of the right move, it's done from half guard, where you straighten out your opponent's free leg, then sort of come under it and rock back and forth. You can either sweep them, or come out the back and scramble.
From half guard, if the guy posts his free leg up high by your head, you under hook it and pull, then scoot out the back door and 'make a wish' with his legs. more or less.
Here is a vid of a guy using it .....
there was one fight last night were a dude coulda used that sweep a number of times. He was practically begging to get electric chaired. forget which fight though.
It would never work on me.....my legs dont get far enough apart in that direction to let even the smallest of people through.
ok
ttt
conmann22, i'm supposed to email you for tim troxell's # - but i can't find your email. please advise.
You transition from Ground Clearance to the Ball Destroyer, reverse the grip on the follow up MOney Shot, sweep him into a Belgian Breakfast(i think that was in a movie), roll into a Cock Vector and turn your hips and voila, Electric Chair.
That looks like one of many jiu-jitsu half guard sweeps, except you trap the far side arm when you roll.

You dont need to trap the far side arm..in fact Im not sure how you would do this sweep and trap the arm
hook the far arm like a wizzer, go underneath the leg with your right arm and make sure you scissor your legs in mid sweep to complete the move effortlessly.
I've used it and watched it done several times.
*edit - This is in reference to the jiu-jitsu sweep. I've never seen the electric chair done live, but I was just stating that it looks like a BJJ half guard sweep.
Nice sub from Epstein.
Scott is badass.
