I've always been a big fan of the Diaz brothers, as well as their attitude and infamous Stockton Slap. But, all of this "slap" talk reminded me of the first SLAP used in the UFC
For all of you original UFC/MMA fans who were watching the sport long before it became mainstream, think back to Keith Hackney vs Emmanuel Yarborough (RIP) in UFC 3.
Hackney utilized the SLAP which completely knock the giant off balance

White tiger claw.
Wölfie66 - More like a palm strike, not a slap
It's exactly a palm strike, and not a slap.
He-man bitch slap.
I thought it was an overhead chop?
How can he......
Palm strike.
How about Rutten? Did he utilise the slap in the UFC from his old Pancrase days? Maybe one could argue that those were also palm strikes.
Groove Holmes - Palm strike.

he threw palm strikes in pancrase because pancrase rules didnt allow punches because of the lack of gloves. no gloves because 75%+ of its roster were realistically ground fighters...
not to say he didnt throw a stray palm strike in the ufc, but he trained to punch and punched in the ufc.
if you were in a MMA fight not at ufc 1-5 and someone else was going to throw punches would you really palm strike them? id like to see more palm strike ground and pound personally... i think you could REALLY mash someone up
