Was out today for lakers. I got 2 and missed one trying to hand line and net at the same time.

Can't wait to get out and bang some sand. Fishing opener about 2 weeks away here in MN.

Gonna go hog snatching for some darva conger sized tanker smallies on Mille Lacs lake.

Nice! I was just talking to my old man about us heading up for a fishing trip. Now that oir province is opening up to allow fishing, I think it may be only vacation we get this year. We’ll be going lakers too, you use down riggers?

Dipsy diver with spoons. 25 to 40 fow

We are just getting into Bluewater season, the dolphin should be showing up anytime then the tuna and billfish right behind them.

The trout (saltwater) will start spawning soon, as well as the redbreast and bluegill. The first full moon after the water temp hits 72 they will start. The redbreast are fun for my daughter's, we can throw the boat in and catch 50 or so pretty quick.

While fishing language is not my native tongue, I’m enjoying the thread nonetheless.

Who doesn’t?

My buddy took his 10 year old son on a bonefish trip. After he showed me a picture of a nice one he caught I asked him what he liked fishing for best. He said “I like smallies” without missing a beat.
