I don't necessarily think ryron should have publicly commented on it, but his point is absolutely valid. Yes, royler bravo was a bjj match not an mma or nhb match. That being said, bjj is predicated on its effectiveness for self defense.
So in a sense it doesnt really make sense to go for or practice or formulate all kinds of time consuming offensive techniques in positions that will get you beat in a real fight. 
I'd like to see the gracie breakdown of the showtime kick next.
